Shozan, fabric, navy blue.

This kimono was gifted to me from a kimono shop a long time ago and has been stored in a paulownia wood box in my kimono closet. I believe it's a high-quality item, but when I opened it, I found many stains. I impulsively washed about 2 meters of it without thinking. The stains were mostly removed, but the fabric shrank. The remaining 10 meters also have small stains and dirt, though not as bad as the first 2 meters.

The fabric composition is 51% silk, 43% silk, and 6% nylon. I'm not knowledgeable about kimonos, but I think it would look stylish placed on a Japanese-style table with a sewing machine, or you could use the scraps for some kind of craft project.
